Dr. Jim Fan is a Senior Research Manager at NVIDIA where he leads the Generalist Embodied Agent Research (GEAR) lab. Jim completed his Ph.D. at Stanford University under Fei-Fei Li. He is the creator of Voyager, the first lifelong learning embodied agent in Minecraft powered by LLMs, and MineDojo, which won the NeurIPS 2022 Outstanding Paper Award.
